Mission Statement
Faithworks is an ecumenical educational initiative offering "deep dives" into Christian theology, traditions, and practices which aim to "CONNECT FAITH AND LIFE". It offers a variety of learning opportunities that provide stimulating reflection and practical resources which participants can take back to their parishes. There are separate tracks for adults and youth.
How can you be a part of Faithworks?
Volunteer to be part of the leadership team.
Help to plan fundraising efforts to support Faithworks.
Spread the word and recruit youth and adults to take part in a course or learning event.
Set up or join a support group for Faithworks in your congregation.
Become a learner yourself – Take part in a course, workshop, or other learning event!

An Invitation from Faithworks to an Eco-Church Workshop, led by Millie Vette of Eco-Church A Rocha Aotearoa, held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Hamilton on 9 May, 2026.
Adult Workshop: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Explore the "why" of creation care. What is it about our faith that calls us to be an eco-church or community?
How can we respond faithfully to the ecological crisis? What are some churches and people of faith already doing?
How can Eco Church a Rocha Aotearoa support churches in the "doing": What are some practical resources to share with your faith community?
Youth Workshop: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Gather at noon for lunch and socialising.
Explore a scripture passage related to "creation care".
Do a conservation project together for an hour or so – weeding, tidying outside, planting.
Re-gather in the church to reflect, pray for creation, and share "creation care" ideas to take back to your churches or communities.
Make sure to register by 4 May!
Suggested koha: $10, or $20 for families (cash only at the venue).
